MWCC participates in the 1st Corporate Summit by Banco Sabadell and reinforces its commitment to business innovation and sustainability

MWCC has actively participated in the I Corporate Summit by Banco Sabadell, the most disruptive economic event in the sector, where business leaders, economists, investors and experts have shared their perspectives on the future of the global economy. The event, held in Madrid, marks the start of a series of meetings that will tour different cities in Spain, including Barcelona (February), Seville (March), Zaragoza (April), Valencia (May) and Palma de Mallorca (June).

Under the slogan ‘The economy in the first person’, the event has been a space for the exchange of experiences, successes, failures and key lessons for the development of sustainable and ethical organisations. MWCC highlighted the importance of inspiring, connecting and transforming society, promoting responsible entrepreneurship with a positive impact.

During the day, MWCC took part in an enriching dialogue on ‘Innovation’, together with Patricia Ayuela de Rueda (CEO of Línea Directa Aseguradora), Santiago García del Arenal y López-Dóriga (Global Sales Director of Claro Enterprise Solutions) and Jaime Ron (CEO of Prosegur Tech), in a round table moderated by Cristina Villanova Abadía (Managing Director of Talent Hackers).

Likewise, key topics such as ‘Sustainable entrepreneurship in the textile world’, with the participation of Clemente Cebrián Mosquera (founder of El Ganso) and Lola López Fernández (founder of Tintoremus SL); ‘The social economy in Spain’, with Enrique Arribas Alcolado (president of the Marketing Association of Spain - AMKT) and Alejandro Oñoro Medrano (CEO of ILUNION); and ‘Sustainability’, with Joaquim Falcó and Rafael Ausejo (founder of Ruralka Hoteles).

The event also featured an inspiring speech by Paco Arango (president of the Aladina Foundation), who highlighted the importance of CSR in business, as well as the testimony of Emilio Sancho, former singer of Los Nikis, on his transition from the world of music to business management in the session ‘From golden record to manager’.

MWCC reaffirms its commitment to the social work of companies, highlighting the role of the entrepreneur as an agent of change who gives value back to society. Corporate Summit by Banco Sabadell is thus consolidated as a key platform for reflection and the promotion of responsible and sustainable business strategies.

The tour of this innovative event will continue in the country's main cities, with the aim of continuing to design the future together.
