MWCC has participated in the sixth edition of the IFEMA Madrid Cities Forum 2024 which took place from 18 to 20 June 2024 in Madrid. This multidisciplinary and open event proposed a debate on the main urban transformations that seek to improve the quality of life and protect the environment.

Organised in collaboration with the Madrid City Council, the Union of Ibero-American Capital Cities (UCCI), the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and UN-Habitat, the forum was attended by more than 60 Spanish and Ibero-American local governments, as well as a hundred experts from public entities, professional associations and international organisations.

The Madrid Cities Forum 2024 analysed new economic strategies with a social and environmental focus, aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Best urban practices were highlighted and the effectiveness of new projects will be assessed for possible improvements. MWCC participated in the Madrid Cities Forum analysing the housing problem in large cities, thus exposing the necessary urban transformations for a new way of designing cities.
