MWCC participates as a strategic partner of CONAMA 2024
MWCC has participated as a strategic partner in CONAMA 2024. The entity has presented two technical communications for the National Environmental Congress (CONAMA) 2024, the benchmark forum on sustainability and environment in Spain, which stand out for their innovative approach as well as for their commitment to the circular economy and public-private collaboration.
The first was based on public-private collaboration for the recovery of CDW in landfills. The project, in which the partner PADECASA has collaborated, aims to transform Construction and Demolition Waste (C&DW) into useful resources through innovative strategies, fostering cooperation between the public and private sectors.
MWCC and seven partners are working on a platform based on blockchain and artificial intelligence to manage materials with a circularity passport, optimise the selection of sustainable materials and guarantee their traceability.
The second communication presented at CONAMA consisted of the development of a smart platform for the application of sustainability and circularity in construction. MWCC developed an advanced platform that integrates blockchain and artificial intelligence to boost sustainability and circularity in the construction sector. This tool enables the implementation of the circularity passport, facilitating full traceability of materials from their origin to their reuse or recycling. It also optimises the selection of sustainable materials, promoting an efficient use of resources and fostering the circular economy. With this innovation, MWCC seeks to transform construction processes towards a more responsible, transparent model aligned with global environmental objectives.
With MWCC's participation in CONAMA 2024, as a strategic partner, it reaffirms its commitment to sustainable innovation and its active contribution to the development of a more efficient and environmentally friendly construction sector.
