AEIT- Madrid joins the Association Madrid World Capital of Construction, Engineering and Architecture
- The agreement signed on April 18th aims to promote and value telecommunications engineering and its professionals both in Madrid and in Spain
The Madrid Delegation of the Spanish Association of Telecommunications Engineers, AEIT-Madrid, together with the Spanish Association of Telecommunications Engineers (AEIT), have joined the Madrid World Capital of Construction Association, Engineering and Architecture (MWCC), whose objective is to promote these sectors both in Madrid and in Spain, consolidating the international leadership of Spanish companies and giving Madrid and Spain visibility as world references in the sector.
After the agreement signed on April 18, AEIT-Madrid joins this initiative to promote and value telecommunications engineering and its professionals, not only within the ICT sector, but also in society in general, and in its transversal applications to other sectors such as the one in question, consolidating itself as a benchmark in the development, empowerment, strengthening, revitalization, expansion and promotion of the sector.
Telecommunications have positioned themselves as a benchmark in society, especially after their work during the pandemic in which they guaranteed the maintenance of services and infrastructure. In addition, they have been a benchmark in the development and application of technological tools and solutions that drive technical and business growth and are the basis for economic growth and sustainability.
With this agreement, we also want to highlight the work of ICT professionals in Spain and consolidate them as international benchmarks in engineering and other sectors such as construction, financing, legal matters and good practices.
According to José Cea, president of the AEIT-Madrid: “it is an honor to be able to belong to this Association, and contribute to the development of the engineering, construction and architecture sector in Spain, in addition to positioning Madrid as the international capital of contracting and reference of these sectors”.
For David Garcia Nuñez, president of MWCC, “the incorporation of AEIT-Madrid means continuing to create the public-private collaboration ecosystem, which we started in 2020. We continue to grow and design urban solution projects that position Madrid and Spain as a benchmark engineering international.
