Public-private collaboration: key to innovation and sustainability in the urban environment

Within the framework of the IV Congress of the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI) held at IFEMA, David García Núñez, MWCC, participated in a session dedicated to public-private collaboration. This event, organized by RECI with the support of the Madrid City Council, highlighted the potential of this type of cooperation to promote innovative and sustainable projects in the urban environment.


During his speech, David García Núñez emphasized that public-private collaboration is an effective formula to address the challenges of contemporary cities.


He also shared some of the innovative projects that MWCC is working on, as part of its effort to develop sustainable urban solutions that improve the quality of life in cities.


The panel included the participation of important representatives of the public-private ecosystem:


- Óscar Romera Jiménez, General Coordinator of Economy, Commerce and Consumption of the Madrid City Council, Green Office.

- Carlos Díez-Ruza, President of MAD e-Health.

- Charo Pinilla Cabo, Managing Director of CyberMadrid - Madrid Cybersecurity Cluster.

- César Blanco García, President of Clúster Big Data & IA Madrid.


The meeting highlighted the relevance of public-private collaboration to achieve a more innovative, efficient and sustainable urban environment. The panelists highlighted the importance of moving towards solutions that combine the expertise of both sectors for the common benefit of citizens.
