MWCC has been present at the signing of the collaboration agreement for the creation of a joint Rehabilitation Office with shared resources and functioning as a “one-stop shop” when it comes to providing information services, permits, visas and processing of subsidies in the field of rehabilitation of homes and buildings.

The rehabilitation of housing is going to be the protagonist of housing policies in the coming years. It will be necessary to promote the rehabilitation of buildings in Madrid, both in their quality, accessibility and sustainability, the improvement of energy efficiency, and decarbonisation, as established by the Strategy for Recovery and Resilience.

In addition to the start-up of this office, the launch of a dissemination and training campaign (for architects, property managers and communities of owners) in the field of rehabilitation and in the procedures for applying for aid will be added. In addition, a pool of specialized architects will be created by the Official College of Architects of Madrid at the disposal of the communities of owners.
