MWCC has been awarded in the IX Edition of Capital magazine Awards, as the best public-private entity in Spain. Capital Magazine has once again celebrated its prestigious business awards in which almost two dozen companies have been awarded for their good practices in the last year. Not only at an institutional level, a special incision has also been made on the importance of leadership and Spanish managers.

Among the winners are entities such as FNAC, Madrid Digital, NH Hoteles, BBK, Makro, Evo Banco, Endesa, Leroy Merlin, Asisa Dental, Orange and World Central Kitchen.

MWCC is a project that was born in 2020, in the midst of one of the worst social and economic times that we experienced in Spain. This is the sum of important companies and entities from Madrid and Spain that came together to develop a greater international position for both Madrid and Spain, in benchmark areas related to urban solutions, as well as the potential that our country offers as a Hub of innovation, sustainability and responsibility.

Its purpose is to improve the quality of life of citizens, promoting the sectors in which Madrid has a competitive advantage and, at the same time, meets two requirements: highly qualified human resources and intensive use of technology”.

In this regard, and especially noteworthy is one of their latest projects in which they promoted the creation of an innovation laboratory (Innovation Lab), together with the Community of Madrid and the Metropoli Foundation, in which companies will test their urban solutions in the area of Madrid Nuevo Norte, one of the largest urban development projects in Europe. The objective of Innovation Lab is to become a pole of attraction for international investment, innovation and urban sustainability. Companies will be able to participate by designing and developing innovation initiatives in energy, infrastructure, decarbonisation and mobility.
