MWCC has participated in the Innovation Week organized annually by the CEU San Pablo University. Nearly 400 students from different universities have participated in the fourth edition of Innovation Week, an initiative promoted by the CEU San Pablo University, which aims to challenge university students to propose innovative solutions with a social perspective to current problems that affect us in our daily lives in the field of health and welfare, new forms of collaboration in the workplace, access to the digital offer of local commerce, or new opportunities offered by the development of smart and sustainable cities.

To enrich their proposals, participants have held various meetings with experts and professionals from the 22 companies that have collaborated this year.

In this edition different challenges have been developed:

Challenge 1: New ways of working. Winner (Un)connect. They have designed a prototype of a school application to solve the problems of digital disconnection of children and parental control in the classroom.
Challenge 2: Local and Global Commerce. Winner Treetech Community, with a proposal to develop a company of connections between the producer, the trader and the customer, based on sustainability, efficiency and technology, to solve the problems of the food production chain.
Challenge 3: Health and Wellness. Winner Mind Work, design of an application that helps workers to have a healthier lifestyle, while motivating them and creating a healthier environment in the company.
Challenge 4: Smart and Sustainable Cities. Winner Supermanzanas, with a project that consists of placing small installations of urban furniture in the interior spaces of the "supermanzanas" to create inclusive and welcoming spaces, with multiple uses: rest, sports, work, leisure...
