The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, through The Trade Council, organised the institutional visit ‘Danish Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Construction and District Heating Tour’, held in Copenhagen, where MWCC has had the opportunity to participate.

This institutional visit brought together public and private professionals, together with leaders from the energy, construction and urban development sectors, who learned first-hand about the innovative and sustainable solutions that Denmark has implemented in these fields.

MWCC, as part of the institutional delegation, had the opportunity to visit emblematic projects such as House of Green, Bloxhub, Nordhavn, Copenhill, Høje Taastrup Fjernvarme, and others. They also participated in expert presentations with representatives from State of Green, Danish Board of District Heating, Danish Energy Agency, BIG Architects and were immersed in immersive experiences with guided walking tours, case study analysis and various networking opportunities with industry leaders.

Denmark has positioned itself as a world leader in sustainability, with a strong commitment to reducing carbon emissions and creating resilient and liveable cities. This visit provided a unique opportunity to exchange and leverage synergies with Danish best practices and explore possible international collaborations.
