MWCC has participated in the urban intelligence and sustainability forum, Greencities, held in Malaga. The event is linked to S-Moving21, a meeting around sustainable mobility. These are national benchmark appointments that annually bring together technicians from town councils and councils, mayors, professionals and companies involved in the development of sustainable, efficient and connected territories, offering a global perspective on the challenges and opportunities of urban management. Thus, in 2021, there are 80 cities represented in the events, of which half have participated in networking to establish meetings with specialized suppliers and share supply and demand for projects and related opportunities.

MWCC participated within the Urban Intelligence Room area, where the following were addressed: International Greencities Congress (IGC) Forum, sustainable urban ecosystem and sustainable and intelligent mobility; sustainable actions in the building; sustainable infrastructures and technological solutions; territorial intelligence and urban governance.
Within the Urban Intelligence Room, the IGC – International Greencities Congress was held, a congress aimed at knowledge and new projects that contribute to the development of sustainable and smart cities.

The round table in which MWCC participated, was moderated by Alfonso Vegara from the Fundación Metrópoli, and was titled “The future of the smart and sustainable city”. Present at it were Ana Ariño, ACCIONA’s Director of Corporate Strategy, David García Núñez, President of the Madrid World Capital Association for Construction, Engineering and Architecture (MWCC); Carlos Borja Castello, General Director of Strategic Consulting at CBRE Spain.
