MWCC, through the Global Infrastructure Hub (GI Hub), has joined the World Bank’s Infrastructure Practice Group associated with the Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF).

This strategic alliance will allow MWCC, recognised as a leading public-private business ecosystem in innovation and sustainable urban development, to share its experience and knowledge with the World Bank and its partners, through the Global Infrastructure Hub (GI Hub). The main objective of this partnership is to drive the development of sustainable, resilient and inclusive infrastructure around the world.

MWCC will bring to the PPIAF its extensive experience in planning, financing and implementing sustainable infrastructure projects. The organisation has pioneered the implementation of innovative solutions for urban mobility, energy efficiency and water management, among other sectors. The World Bank, for its part, will bring its extensive network of contacts and experience in financing infrastructure projects in developing countries.

The integration of MWCC into the World Bank, through the GI-Hub, is an important step in advancing sustainable infrastructure development globally. This collaboration will allow both organisations to work together to create a more prosperous and sustainable future for cities around the world.

MWCC is the first and only entity to participate in the advisory panel of the Gi-Hub (G-20), specifically the Academic Advisory Panel of the Gi-Hub, the body created by the G-20 to “advance its infrastructure agenda.
