MWCC joins the Madrid Excelente and Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation's campaign for an ‘Excellent Christmas’.
MWCC joins Madrid Excelente, in collaboration with the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation, in organising a solidarity campaign to collect toys to bring hope and happiness to children with serious illnesses in the Ronald McDonald Houses in Madrid and Valencia.
The House opened its doors in January 2015 and is the largest of the Foundation's five Houses in Spain, offering free accommodation to around 30 families each night. Located within the grounds of the Niño Jesus University Children's Hospital, on loan from the Community of Madrid, it has 3,000 square metres of space where it caters for families from all over the country who need referral hospital treatment in the capital.
The initiative seeks to collect new toys that symbolise support and affection for children facing difficult situations. In addition, this campaign aims to alleviate the recent damage caused by the hurricane DANA in Valencia.
The collection will take place at the headquarters of the participating companies, which have been certified by Madrid Excelente. These include Fundación MTP, HP, Novo Nordisk, Madrid Capital Mundial and Clínica Dental Las Aguas.
The toys will be delivered at a private event where they will be placed under the Christmas tree at the Ronald McDonald House in Madrid. Afterwards, a coffee will be offered to the attendees, highlighting the commitment of the participating companies.
This campaign highlights the values of social responsibility that Madrid Excelente upholds, promoting initiatives that unite Madrid companies to make a positive difference in the lives of families who need it most.
