A total of seven associations from the sustainable mobility infrastructure sector present at the Global Mobility Call
Global Mobility Call, the leading international meeting on sustainable mobility organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, will bring together leading associations in the field of mobility from 19 to 21 November. A total of seven of the key associations that will be attending stand out for their activity aimed at the creation and development of infrastructures that integrate sustainability, digitalisation and efficiency practices into their strategies, as well as safety solutions in the design, management and maintenance of infrastructures.
Among the associations in this sector present were the Association of Infrastructure Conservation and Operation Companies (ACEX), the Spanish Road Association (AEC), the National Association of Independent Builders (ANCI), the Association of Car Parks and Garages (ASESGA), the Spanish Higher Council of Architects' Associations (CSCAE), ITS, SEOPAN and Madrid World Capital of Construction, Engineering and Architecture (MWCC).
Committed to sustainability and efficiency in the maintenance of critical infrastructures, ACEX has launched this year a digital collaboration platform for project planning and a training programme in new technologies to promote greater professionalism in the sector.
For its part, the Spanish Road Association is leading initiatives on digitalisation and road safety on roads. Its ‘Safe, Green and Connected Road’ project is a step towards a more sustainable and intelligent road network, while studies such as the ‘Roadmap for the Digital Adaptation of Local Roads’ address key improvements in safety and connectivity.
In the case of ANCI, it brings together 25 companies representing 20% of the public works executed in Spain. Its mission is to promote competition, transparency and equal opportunities in the construction sector, always with a sustainable approach. Its commitment to talent management has earned it the ‘EJE&CON Empresa Comprometida’ (EJE&CON Committed Company) distinction and it stands out for its commitment to efficient mobility and sustainable infrastructures.
ANCERA drives the digitalisation of the aftermarket sector and guides its members in adapting to emerging regulations. Its growth in members and strategic alliances, together with services such as continuous training and legal advice, reinforce its influence on the competitiveness of the sector.
ASESGA will also be present at GMC representing companies that manage parking solutions and low emission zones. In this way, it supports efficiency in the management of urban space and the installation of charging points for electric vehicles to promote more sustainable urban mobility.
The Consejo Superior de Colegios de Arquitectos de España promotes sustainable urban regeneration and mobility in urban environments. Through the ‘Observatorio 2030’, it unites public and private actors in the creation of healthier and more efficient cities, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, highlighting in reports the need to transform urban environments towards sustainability and decarbonisation.
Finally, MWCC, promoted by the City Council and the Community of Madrid, seeks to position the Spanish capital as a leader in urban and sustainable solutions. With more than 189 collaborating entities, MWCC manages public-private projects in mobility and energy efficiency in order to contribute to the urban wellbeing of citizens.
Thanks to all of them, who are influential voices in the sector, Global Mobility Call will be a space for innovation, collaboration and exchange of ideas, covering all aspects of safe, efficient and sustainable mobility for the future.
