MWC its General Assembly 2024

MWCC held its General Assembly for the 2024 financial year. This was a key meeting at which the progress of the past year was reviewed and the strategic lines for the future were defined, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and urban transformation.

During the Assembly, fundamental issues were addressed, such as the approval of the annual accounts for 2024 and the presentation of the budget for 2025, the balance of ongoing projects, as well as the incorporation of new members and the appointment of Ángel Zarabozo as interim Secretary General.

🔹 Boosting innovation: MWCC reaffirmed its commitment to the development of innovative urban solutions, highlighting its participation in the Innovative Solutions Directory together with ICEX and its presence at the Smart World Congress in Barcelona.

🔹 Innovation and Zero Emission Districts: Work on alternative financing models, urban planning and digitalisation to advance the goal of more sustainable cities was highlighted.

🔹 Publication of strategic studies: Analyses were presented on quality of life in Spanish and international cities, mobility in Madrid, economic impact of the Paseo Verde del Sureste and prospects for the real estate sector in Spain, among others.

🔹 New agreements and accessions: The Assembly ratified the incorporation of new partners such as XLR Arquitectos, Modelical, Fundación Empresarial Eurochile, Votorantim Cimentos, Typsa, among others, strengthening MWCC's collaborative network.
